Averages: 21 two-year-old Polled Hereford bulls – $4,800; 30 two-year-old Angus bulls – $4,425; 51 bulls total – $4,575

Mark and Dennis Gant and their families held their annual bull sale at the Platte (SD) Livestock. This year marks the 97th anniversary sale for the Gant family. Again, the sale offering included a tremendous set of two-year-old bulls which are developed each year for their sale. No yearlings are sold. A big crowd of neighbors, friends, and customers filled the auction barn.

Gant In Focus 462 sold to John Mushitz and Mike Schulte of Geddes, SD, for $6,000.

Gant focus 340 sold to Duane Roth, Parkston, SD for $6,000.
