The 78th Western Junior Livestock Show was in Rapid City, South Dakota Oct. 7-10. Contestants showed goats, sheep, cattle and hogs. They also competed in grass and range plant ID, a livestock skill-a-thon, meats identification and livestock judging. The show is always the first full week in October.
