The Schuler family hosted their 28th annual production sale at the ranch located southwest of Bridgeport, NE on March 25. Schuler Red Angus is a total performance program that utilizes extensive artificial insemination on native range and on-ranch performance testing to identify economically relevant traits and has compiled over 19 years of feedlot and carcass performance data on their seedstock from their own commercial cowherd. In addition to their registered Red Angus cattle they developed the Schuler Red composite which utilizes Red Angus, Simmental, and Gelbvieh genetics to provide breed complements and heterosis without increasing cow size.
