Seven vie for Mandan Rodeo crowns

Four princess contestants and three queen contestants are vying to serve as ambassadors for Mandan Rodeo Days, the community and sport of rodeo in 2010-2011.

Miss Rodeo Mandan contestants in this year’s pageant are Nicole Bruse, Horace; Katie Heid, Bismarck; and Casey Johnson, Bismarck.

Princess contestants are Carsen Balvitsch, Mandan; Kelly Knoll, Mandan; Haley Sailer, Hazen; and Abigail Waloch, Baldwin.



A pageant luncheon will be held July 2 at noon at the Seven Seas Inn and will feature princess and queen contestant speeches, modeling and impromptu questions. The luncheon is sponsored by Leggette, Brashears, and Graham. Advance tickets may be purchased through June 29 by contacting Pageant Coordinator Keely Spilde, phone 527- 5118 or e-mail keelys99@yahoo.com. The cost is $13 in advance or $15 at the door.
