Shearer “Spear U”: 45 virgin two-year-old bulls – $3,131; Trask “+S”: 44 yearling bulls – $2,464; Peterson “Rafter Q”: 16 yearling bulls – $3,231

Shearer Spear U Angus, Trask +S Angus, and Peterson Rafter Q Angus combined their forces for another outstanding western South Dakota bull sale. These outfits are proud of their cowherd. This program started from moderate framed, easy fleshing, and very functional females. These cows can thrive without supplemental feed, and still harvest and sell the grass as beef. These cattlemen believe in cattle that can graze out all winter, and then breed back on time.
