Sitz Angus Ranch 2011 Fall Production Sale

Brothers Jim and Bob Sitz and their families presented a very powerful set of two-year-old bulls at their 46th Annual production sale. The sale was held in the heated sale facility at the Harrison, MT ranch. The building was filled to capacity with cattlemen from across the U.S. that came to evaluate and purchase superior Angus seedstock and replacement females in volume.

The sale offering sires are some of the most popular and prolific in the breed, including: Sitz Upward; Sitz Bull Durham; Sitz Rainmaker; Connealy Thunder; Game Day; Sitz Dash; Sitz Madison; and Sitz Game Point. This set of bulls had been developed with the commercial cattleman in mind, weaned on grass and fed a grower ration the first winter. The bulls were then summered on pasture and brought into the lots on Sept. 20 and fed a high-roughage ration. This management process ensures soundness and longevity.
