So You Want to be a Rodeo Queen Clinic

There will be a “So You Want to be a 4-H Ambassador/Rodeo Queen Clinic” Sunday, April 26, 2009, at the Meade County Extension Office, Sturgis, SD. Doors will open at 8:30 a.m., and the clinic will run from 9 a.m. until about 3 p.m. All phases of preparation, rules, contest activities and personal safety will be covered.

Participants are not to bring their horses.

Young ladies of all ages are invited, along with coaches, judges and parents. Cost for the participants will be $25, coaches etc will be $10. This will cover the cost of the clinics, notebooks and meals. Clinicians include Eris Tanner, Kelli Jo Page (2008 State 4-H Ambassador) Shawn McKay, and Sorrel McKay (2006 Miss Rodeo South Dakota). Preregistration is requested by Friday, April 24.
