Sonstegard Cattle Co. LLC 2012 Bull Sale
Gary and Elaine Sonstegard, along with sons Troy and Tyler and families hosted, the 8th annual Sonstegard Cattle Co. Red Angus bull sale at the ranch on April 14. The area had received a couple inches of rain just before the sale so things were a bit muddy. However, all the roads to the ranch were open, which hasn’t always been the case in previous years when the river was out of its banks, making the road to the sale a bit treacherous.
The goal at Sonstegard Cattle Co. is simple – provide the bull buying public excellent Red Angus genetics to make their customers more profit. The bulls had been fed for a moderate 3-pound per day gain and were in great sale condition. These bulls will fit most aspects of the cattle industry with plenty of calving ease, maternal, growth and carcass qualities. There was a nice crowd on hand on a beautiful sunny day to evaluate and purchase this set of bulls.
