South Dakota: Pulse crop program Feb. 23 in Murdo

A pulse crop program will be held Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011 at 1 p.m. (CST) at the Jones Co. Courthouse in Murdo, SD.

Dwayne Beck, world leader in no-till and crop rotation research will discuss the basics of pulse crops – the what, where when and why.

Bob Fanning, Extension Agronomy Educator and Valerie Mitchell, Extension Livestock Educator, will also offer brief presentations on using peas a livestock feed and the potential influence of peas on the end product of beef.
