South Dakota State Fair headliners announced
Kicking off the State Fair at 8 p.m. CDT on Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 27-28, Channel Seeds Preview Day, will be the Red Wilk Championship Bull Riding (CBR) Bull Bash.
The State Fair and Legend Seeds welcome Chancey Williams and the Younger Brothers Band as the opener for ALABAMA at 8 p.m. CDT on Friday, Aug. 29.
Chancey Williams kicked off their 2014 tour with the release of their latest single “She Loves Me Anyway” from their new album “Echo.” Williams originates from Wyoming, where he grew up ranching with his family. By 2008, they released their first album “Honky Tonk Road,” followed by “Highway Junkie” in 2011. Now “Echo” is climbing the billboard charts.
Rounding out the State Fair on Monday, Sept. 1 will be Monster Trucks and Soccer Demolition Derby. For more information on the Monster Trucks and Soccer Demolition Derby, call Dakota Promotions at (605) 352-4848.
Pre-sale on tickets for this show will begin June 9 for backrest holders, followed by Friends of the Fair ticket sales on June 12. General public ticket sales will begin June 16.
