Spear U Angus 28th Annual Roughage Buster Sale

Greg and Lori Shearer hosted a big crowd for their annual two-year-old bull sale. The Spear U program has built a reputation for producing Angus cattle that will produce outstanding females. Plus, these cattle will feed and produce carcasses that bring premiums on the rail.

Calving-ease has been bred into this cow herd, along with moderate frames and excellent fleshing ability. These bulls were well grown, but not fat, and they were very sound on their feet and legs.

The top selling bull of the day was Lot 79, selling for $7,000 to long time repeat buyer, Don Fish, of Buffalo Gap, SD. This son of Connealy Spring Break was out of a daughter of TK Grand Canyon.
