State Grazing Districts meeting slated for Aug. 26 in Ekalaka
The Montana Association of State Grazing Districts (MASGD) 2010 annual meeting will be held Aug. 26 at the Carter County Events Center in Ekalaka, MT. The day will include a board of directors meeting, grazing district secretary’s appreciation lunch and the annual meeting, which will begin at 1:30 p.m. Following the annual meeting, attendees will enjoy a social hour and prime rib dinner banquet.
“As we move our annual meetings around the state, this year we are excited to be in Ekalaka,” said Lee Iverson, MASGD president. “We have a great agenda, which includes updates from the Bureau of Land Management and the Public Lands Council, and a sage grouse update.”
Sheriff Richard Mack will be the keynote speaker for the event. Richard Mack is former sheriff of Graham County, AZ, and long-time crusader for freedom and individual rights. He is also an author/speaker who has served in a wide variety of roles over the course of his nearly twenty-year career in law enforcement, which began in Provo, UT. He lectures and gives seminars on constitutional issues relating to gun control, law enforcement, and states’ rights.
“We are excited to have a speaker of this caliber coming to Montana,” said Iverson. “Richard Mack has an accomplished history and delivers a great message.”
