Strohschein Angus, owned and operated by Mic and Anita Strohschein, held their 2nd Annual Production Sale at Belle Fourche Livestock on March 24, 2011. Mic has culled his cowherd extremely hard, focusing on bulls with calving ease, excellent performance and dispositions. These bulls were stout and thick with great structure. Mic fed these bulls a growing ration, so the bulls were ready to work in all conditions. Mic has been raising purebred Angus bulls for a number of years, selling them by private treaty before holding a production sale due to the increasing size of his cowherd. Mic has a great repeat buyer following and he stands behind is guarantee.

The top two-year-old bull, Lot 31, sold to Monte Fredrickson from Broadus, MT, for $3,100.

The second top-selling two-year -old bull, Lot 43, sold to Jack Grieves from New Castle, WY, for $2,400.

The top yearling bull, Lot 25, sold for $2,700 to Jack Grieves as well.
