Supreme Row results from 2009 Sioux Empire Farm Show
SIOUX FALLS, SD – Seven purebred cattle breeds vied for the coveted $12,000 Supreme Row purse during the week of the 56th Annual Sioux Empire Farm Show Jan. 27-31. The $12,000 purse is split between the Supreme Champion Bull and Heifer with $3,500 going to the consignor and $2,500 going to the buyer.
Judges Steve Reimer of Chamberlain, SD, and Craig Schrader of Tekonsha, MI, named the Hereford, HPH 80P Target 133U, as Supreme Row Bull. Consigned by Hanson’s Polled Herefords of Conde, SD, he was sired by LaGrand Reload 80P ET and out of LaGrand Lady 63R. He sold to Brad White of Esterville, IA.
Reimer and Schrader named the Maine Anjou, BPF Princess 93U, as Supreme Row Female. She was consigned by Bushy Park Farms of Mitchell, SD, and purchased by Neal Pearson of Lake City, SD.

The $12,000 Supreme Row Cash Award presentations were made at the Sale of Champions prior to the Mayor’s Round-Up and Sale of Champions at the Best Western Ramkota Hotel Exhibit Hall.
