U.S. Cattlemen’s Association group hosts forum to discuss industry outlook

The United States Cattlemen’s Association (USCA) is pleased to announce the 2016 USCA Annual Meeting and Cattle Producer’s Forum, a joint event being held September 9-10th at the Big Horn Resort in Billings, Montana. USCA will hold its annual meeting on Friday, September 9th, immediately followed by the full-day Forum on Saturday, September 10th. Producers, students, industry representatives, media and members of the general public are invited to attend both day’s proceedings; one does not need to be a member to attend either function.

The Forum, presented by leading sponsor Silveus Insurance, and hosted by USCA, Intertribal Agriculture Council, Montana Cattlemen’s Association, Bitterroot Stockgrowers, Beartooth Stockgrowers, and the Marias River Livestock Association, will bring together cattle producers and industry leaders from across the country for a full day of panel discussions focused on factors influencing the market, the current state of the industry, and issues facing the next generation of producers and consumers.

With a focus on finding solutions to maximize producer profits, the Forum will provide attendees with perspective on the most pressing issues facing cattle producers. Three discussion panels will be led by a range of industry professionals and will encourage dialogue with the audience.

The two-day event will also serve as host to an industry trade show and “Producer’s Night Out” social event. Additional information on meeting details, online registration, hotel accommodations and more may be found online at: http://www.cattlemensmeeting.com. F
