In an unusually terse statement late Wednesday, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative said that “limited progress was made so far this week and significant gaps remain” after the two days of talks between Acting Deputy USTR Wendy Cutler and Japanese Ambassador Hiroshi Oe on Trans-Pacific Partnership agricultural market access issues.
