Weber Charolais & Red Angus Farms Annual Production Sale

Dan Piroutek

Auctioneer Greg Arendt with Tim Weber

A big crowd gathered for the Dean Weber production sale in Corsica, SD. They held their sale just before a big snowstorm hit western South Dakota. The Webers are a large family with several sons and their young families, all involved in agriculture. They are a good family to do business with, and I like them all.

Weber Farms has built a reputation for providing thick-made, easy fleshing cattle that do extremely well in the feedlot and on the rail. These cattle have a lot of rib eye and are very smooth in their pattern. The Charolais cattle are bred for thickness and muscle, and they cross extremely well on English bred cattle to produce outstanding carcasses. The Red Angus herd is bred for maternal and carcass characteristics.
