June 18, 2015
The House is expected to vote today on a bill that would grant President Barack Obama trade promotion authority but that does not have the failed trade adjustment assistance legislation attached, but a White House official said Obama's won't sign TPA without TAA.
"The only legislative strategy that the president will support is a strategy that results in both TPA and TAA coming to his desk," White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest told reporters Wednesday.
