Wyoming Brucellosis team to meet Nov. 2
The Governor’s Brucellosis Coordination Team will meet Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 pm at the Big Horn Weed and Pest Office, 4782 US-310, Greybull, WY.
Updates on current brucellosis cases in cattle and bison herds in Wyoming, Montana, and Idaho will be presented. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department will discuss their plan for surveillance for 2016-17 for both hunter-harvested and feedground elk. A report on the public educational meetings regarding Brucellosis that were held during the summer will also be presented. University of Wyoming researchers will provide the latest information on their work. There will also be a brief update on an elk movement study currently ongoing in the Bighorn Mountains, as well as a discussion of adult booster vaccination with RB51 vaccine in cattle and any other needed business.
