Wyoming Angus Association plans tour

The Wyoming Angus Association annual tour is slated for Aug. 28-29, 2010 in Goshen County (Torrington, WY). The Southeastern Wyoming Angus Association will host the event.

The tour starts with the bus loading at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28 at Booth’s Cherry Creek Ranch. The schedule includes cattle viewing at Grandstaff G-Wing Angus, lunch at Ken Haas Angus, and a full afternoon starting at Guest Livestock, G-H Cattle Company, and ending at Booth’s Cherry Creek Ranch with guests Bill Johnson and McClun’s Lazy JM Ranch. The evening will conclude with a steak dinner, socializing and an auction to benefit the Wyoming Junior Angus Association.

Sunday, Aug. 29, begins with a breakfast of donuts and coffee provided by Accelerated Genetics at the Miller Feedlot stop. From Miller’s, the bus will head to 7X Ranch, on to Douglas Booth Family Angus with their guest WEBO Angus Ranch. The tour concludes at Ochsner and Sons Ranch with a lunch.
