Wyoming: ICOW membership meeting in Douglas for Jan. 17
The Independent Cattleman of Wyoming (ICOW) is hosting an open to the public meeting and a free lunch buffet beginning Jan. 17, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. at the Best Western Inn in Douglas, WY.
The program consists of speakers from around the state to discuss a variety of topics of interest to the ag community on local issues. Topics include: oil and gas leases, wind generation leases, Surface Use Agreements, livestock marketing, nutrition and genetics, and other topics.
Speakers include: Jack Sutlemeyer with Ranch-way Feeds; Gene Hardy, president of Wyoming Wool Growers; Grant Stumbough with NRCS; Heather Jacobson, Attorney at Law; Wyoming Business Council Representatives John Henn and Scott Keith; as well as Richard Cross, a rancher from Douglas.
Also speaking will be ICOW members: Frank Eathorne, cattle producer and Chairman of the ICOW Marketing committee; Taylor Haynes, a rancher from Cheyenne; Ed Perry, a rancher from Lusk; Terry Henderson, a rancher from Douglas; and Judy McCullough, a rancher from Moorcroft.
The free lunch buffet will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. This is the first of the local informative meetings ICOW will be holding around the state in 2011.
