Wyoming Needs Ag event helps fight hunger

Cowboy Fans who attended the University of Wyoming (UW) Cowboy Basketball game vs. Denver University on Nov. 30 can check all items off this list above. The Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation partnered with UW Sports to hold a “Wyoming Needs Agriculture/Harvest for All” event to benefit the Wyoming Food Bank of the Rockies (WFBR).

WFBR, Wyoming’s only food bank, serves hunger relief agencies in all of Wyoming’s 23 counties.

The Cowboys plaedy Denver University with tip-off at 7 p.m. Nov. 30 in Laramie. Fans visited the WyFB booth on the concourse of the Arena Auditorium prior to the game. If they made a monetary or canned food item donation they were given a t-shirt. They were also invited to spend a minute roping with Farm Bureau members and meeting farmers and ranchers from Wyoming.
