Outside Circle by Jan Swan Wood: Heartache, 5 panel testing, barrels, bulls, bronc riding, rodeos, ranch rodeos
May 18, 2016
It's staying consistently dry and windy here on Dry Creek. We're about two thirds done with calving and the country looks pretty and green. I'm sure hoping for some rain though. I know others are too.
My heart goes out to the Chord and VanEaton families in the loss of their precious children. There is no pain greater than the loss of one's child. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
I want to remind all of you AQHA stallion owners that you have to have the five panel testing done on your horse before the 2016 offspring can be registered this fall. The five panel test is $85 and if you add a DNA test to it it's $105. You can call the AQHA with any questions you have at 806-376-4811. You can order the kits online at http://www.aqha.com.
All of you GPIRA rodeo members, be sure and get your membership applications and renewals into the INFR office before June 1.
