It was a huge day for the Hereford breed at Van Newkirks. The weather was the best it has been for years at this sale, and the sale facility was packed with some of the country’s best stockmen looking to purchase stout rugged bulls. The demand was solid all the way to the end with active online and in-person participation. Ninety percent of the bulls sold to repeat customers. One stat that speaks to the consistency of the Van Newkirk cow herd is the fact that the top 12 bulls were by 12 different herd sires. Congratulations to the Van Newkirk crew on a stellar sale.
