South Dakota Sheep Growers Association Scholarship

The South Dakota Sheep Growers Association (SDSGA), in partnership with Texkota, proudly awards a $1,000 scholarship each year to a high school senior committed to building a future in the sheep industry.

This year’s recipient, Landon Berg of Emery, SD, exemplifies that mission, from managing livestock and crops at Berg Farm to operating his own club lamb business. Landon has demonstrated leadership, work ethic, and excellence in both 4-H and FFA. His long-term goal is to pursue animal science, strengthen sheep production, and return his knowledge to serve rural South Dakota.

With partners like Texkota investing in youth and agriculture, the future of the sheep industry is bright.
