2026 NDSU Horse Management Webinar Series
Horse owners, stable managers and equine enthusiasts — mark your calendars for two free online learning sessions this March, designed to help you care for your horses with confidence and clarity.
North Dakota State University Extension is hosting its 2026 Horse Management Webinar Series at noon CT on March 11 and March 18. These free webinars will bring research-based horse health and care strategies right to your screen via Zoom — no travel required.
March 11 – Equine Eye Health
Dr. Lynn Martin from the University of Missouri Veterinary Health Center will break down the most common eye issues affecting horses — including corneal ulcers, squamous cell carcinoma and equine recurrent uveitis. Participants will learn how to spot early warning signs and what safe first-aid actions they can take while waiting for veterinary care.
March 18 – Neurologic Conditions in Horses
Dr. Sally DeNotta, from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine, will lead the second session, focusing on neurologic conditions that can affect both performance and pleasure horses. She will review common issues and explain diagnostic options if a neurologic problem is suspected.
The goal of the series is to provide practical, research-based information horse owners can use right away — whether that’s recognizing health issues early or understanding when to seek veterinary diagnostics.
Registration is required to attend. Participants can sign up online at ndsu.ag/horsewebinar26. Once registered, attendees will receive Zoom details for the sessions.
The webinars are free and open to horse enthusiasts everywhere. Take advantage of this opportunity to connect with experts and bring your questions to the live discussions. Previous webinars are available for viewing on YouTube.
