HELENA, Mont. (June 24, 2026) – The Montana Stockgrowers Foundation (MSF) has awarded $2,000 through its grant funding program to support its mission of investing in Montana’s ranching community and ensuring the future of Montana’s cattle industry.

MSU Extension was awarded funds for the Ranchers Roundtable as part of the Rooted in Resiliency Agricultural Conference. Rancher Roundtable, hosted this year in Teton County, was established to improve the lives and communities for Montana citizens by offering research-based education, knowledge, and information.

The monetary contribution will be utilized for presentation events, marketing conversations, as well as covering speaker costs at the conference on December 12, 2026, in Choteau.

MSF’s general grant program distributes funding on a quarterly basis to organizations, programs, and events that strengthen the future of Montana’s cattle industry, support ranching families, and build connections between agriculture and local communities.
